Adversity brings the best out of you. It happened so with Nike too. They were down and out in the 1980’s and virtually on verge of shutdown when they rose back like phoenix. What turned fortunes for them is that they signed Michael Jordan and with them the Air Jordan shoes brand became a household name. Soon they did also come up with Nike Dunks and with sponsorship deal, soon the Nike Air Jordan was seeing an output that was in inverse proportion to their crisis years and it continues to do the same business till date.
